Former Super Eagles attacker Osaze Peter Odemwingie has become a professional golfer.
The former Nigeria International retired from active football in 2018 after playing for several clubs in England and Russia.
The skillful attacker was excited about the development and said golf had made him a better person.
” It’s a long journey, I fell in love with the game and played lots of pro-am as an amateur.
Coming from a football background, I had a decent career in a team sport.
Now, in golf it’s different, sometimes it can be lonely, just you and your caddie, if you have one, but PGA itself feels like a family.
It’s motivating to be around people who have the drive to achieve and get the badge on their chest.
It’s inspiring because we learn so many life skills that, even at my age are still very beneficial,” he said.
