Reigning African Woman Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala has made her return to training after two months she suffered an injury.
Recall she sustained a Grade 2 Medial Collateral Ligament strain while in action for the Super Falcons, in the opening group game defeat to rivals and eventual champions South Africa Banyana Banyana during the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
This ruled her from the tournament as she had to return to Spain for another assessment and treatment.
Oshoala on Tuesday joined her Barcelona Femeni preseason camp after recovering from the Medial Collateral Ligament strain injury.
Barcelona Femeni on their verified Twitter handle posted a tweet which read: “Today (Tuesday), Asisat Oshoala, Nuria Rabáno and Laia Codine participated in part of the training session.”
