Italian Serie A champions Napoli has confirmed that Nigeria’s Super Eagles missed today’s warm-up against Girona due to injury.
The lanky Nigerian attacker has been ever-present in the attack of the Naples-based club since the start of the preseason.
The club medics confirmed that Osimhen had a muscular problem and he had to rest his leg.
They further said the injury was not serious, as he’s expected to be back on the team very soon.
The game ended 1-1 with Giovane Simone scoring Napoli’s goal.
