Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, saved Napoli from a surprise defeat to lowly placed Cagliari last night in a Series A match.
18th placed Cagliari had gone in the 58th minute through Pereiro and was coasting home to victory but substitute Osimhen saved the day to keep Napoli on third position in 87th minute.
Osimhen didn’t start the game as he was initially rested but just 20 minutes that he came on in place of Diego Demme in the 67th minute, he proved the saviour to keep Napoli in contention for a Champions League place.
