World Basketball Body (FIBA) has confirmed the 12 qualified teams for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The final qualifying tournament was concluded in Antwerp, Belgium last weekend and 12 teams confirmed their qualification.
Nigeria’s D’Tigress were among the teams that took part in the qualifying tournament and they were able to confirm their qualifying ticket despite winning just one game.
The African Champions defeated their African counterparts Senegal in the opening game of the qualifying tournament before losing to the United States and Belgium in the final two matches.
Nigeria hopes to get a better result this time when the competition commences later in the year.
