The Technical Director of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Samuel Onikeku has declared the readiness of Team Nigeria athletes to perform well in Paris.
While speaking to Making of Champions, Onikeku confirmed that they’ve recognized their limitations and have started eliminating them.
“We’ve been working hard since 2021, some athletes like Ofili, Dodi, etc who we took to Kenya that year are still here with us.
“We developed a short and long-term goal for the Federation towards the Olympics and it has been going on well.
” Early this we developed a key performance index, we also looked into some factors that might limit us from achieving our goals in Paris and we have started eliminating them.
” We are going to Germany to prepare and perfect our preparation, we believe things will go well in Paris”, he said.
