Next month she will embark on her latest quest with Spain, and said that her sights are firmly set on Olympic gold.
Spain is placed in the same group with Brazil, Japan and Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
” It promises to be a fierce battle, the games are sure to be very intense from the beginning. Obviously, we cannot look beyond whichever team we’re facing on the day.
” It makes no sense to be thinking about a medal or reaching the quarter-finals.
” We have to win our group games by treating them as if they were finals”, she said.
