A Sports Scientist and Physiotherapy Expert Dr Rajpal Brar has debunked the injury record of Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho is presently unattached following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City and several clubs especially in the Premier League have shown interest in having him.
Dr Brar while speaking to Villa News said his ( Iheanacho) injury should not worry Aston Villa and his inclusion will surely add value to the team.
” He’s not had any injuries that would be red flags for any club looking to sign him, but he has not played too many minutes,” Dr Brar explained.
“The lack of game time can certainly be a worry so the key is he needs to be brought in gradually.”
” He is moving to the Premier League from the Championship but he’s played there before so will understand the demands of the Premier League.”
Iheanacho boasts an impressive Premier League record, having made 196 appearances in the top flight, scoring 42 goals and providing 25 assists.
