Injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has recovered and made a return to the Nottingham Forest team.
The Nigerian International has been out of action due to a muscle injury he sustained during the club’s engagement in the league.
He was unable to appear for the Super Eagles in the doubleheader international friendly against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in Portugal.
After returning to training earlier in the week, he returned to action in the Premier League game against Luton Town at the City Ground.
He was introduced into the game in the 88th minute as the game ended 2-2.
His return will surely gladden the heart of the Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro as he continues to gather his team for the 2026 World Cup qualifier that will start in November.
