Man Utd superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is running out of options if he wants to secure a move away from Old Trafford this summer after Paris Saint-Germain reportedly snubbed the chance to sign him.

Widespread reports recently indicated that the Portugal international has told the Red Devils hierarchy that he wants to leave the club this summer.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions last season but could not help Man Utd finish higher than sixth in the Premier League.

The Red Devils missed out on qualification for the Champions League, ending the campaign 13 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham and 35 points adrift of champions Man City.

Ronaldo is currently missing from their pre-season tour of Asia for family reasons and Man Utd is currently unsure on when he will return to training this summer.

Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Roma and Napoli have all been linked with a move for Ronaldo this summer but his options are already diminishing.

ESPN claimed that Ronaldo was offered to PSG by his agent Jorge Mendes recently but ‘the French champions rejected the possibility of signing’ him.

Mendes is ‘very close’ to PSG sporting director Luis Campos and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after being involved in multiple deals with the Ligue 1 club.

ESPN added: “Sources added that PSG don’t feel that Ronaldo is the right signing at this moment and that the club doesn’t have enough space in their wage bill to pay him.

“From a sporting perspective, there are also concerns that there isn’t room for him in the team, with new manager Christophe Galtier wanting to start a season with using a back three. The former Nice coach may already struggle to find ways to play Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe together in his preferred formation, so a move for Ronaldo would not make sense.”

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel is ‘not keen’ on the signing of Ronaldo this summer, while Bayern Munich has ‘also turned down the chance’ to sign the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
