Ahead of the clash against Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the opening group game of the 2022 Qatar World cup qualifiers, all seems not to be well in the camp of Lone Stars of Liberia.

The West African country will trade tackles with their neighbor in the matchday one of the qualifiers slated for Lagos Nigeria.

According to the report, the contract of the head coach Peter Butler was extended last week by the country football body but to date, the contract has not been signed.

The energetic gaffer has insisted that the contract must be in black and white to make it official.

To this end, Butler has refused to resume training with the team as they are already camp for the much-awaited encounter.

The report further suggests that Butler may not follow the team to Nigeria unless the contract paper is ratified.
