Newly crowned champions of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Rangers International have began preparations ahead of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League.
The Flying Antelopes Rangers on Sunday, June 16, 2024, secured its 8th league title even with one round of match in the 2023/2024 NPFL season to spare as it defeated Bendel Insurance 2-0 in a capacity filled Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
The team, led by Fidelis Ilechukwu will represent the country at next season’s CAF Champions League.
As obtained from the official Twitter handle of the club, “Technical/ Scouting meeting of R.I.F.C took place at the Boardroom of the corporate office of the club ahead of next season’s CAF Champions League.”
Meanwhile, the last two spots for the continental tickets are still up for grabs and will go down the wire on the final round of the NPFL matches on Sunday as well as the final of the President Federation Cup.
