The head coach of the Mexico Women’s team Pedro Ramos has said they have enormous respect for the Nigeria players.
The North Americans late on Wednesday evening defeated the Super Falcons by a lone goal.
The goal was scored by Kianna in the 85th minute and put Mexico in the driving seat.
” Nigeria is one of the best teams in Africa, and if you look at their players they are playing in some of the best leagues in the world.
The win is worth it but you have to respect them”, he said.
Nigeria will face Colombia in the next match and Mexico will confront Costa Rica.
