Newly appointed Plymouth Argyle boss Wayne Rooney has disclosed reasons the club signed Nigerian forward Muhammad Tijani.
The Championship club Tuesday announced the acquisition of the skilful attacker from the Czech Republic side Slavia Prague.
Former England international said the athleticism and playing style of Tijani will add needed bite to their team attack.
“Muhamed joining further strengthens our forward line and he will bring different attributes to the squad.
“He is big, athletic and can run in behind, but is equally as good at holding the ball up and bringing other players into play.
“He has played and scored in the Europa League so comes with a good pedigree but is also young and keen to improve. We are looking forward to working with him”, he said.
