It was a day to forget for former Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Victor Moses after he suffered an injury in Spartak Moscow’s win.
The former Chelsea attacker has been in splendid form since the start of the Russian Premier League scoring in their two opening matches.
Spartak played away to Ural Yekaterinburg on Saturday and Moses could only play for 30 minutes in the encounter.
Dutch International Quincy Promise netted the opening goal in the 27th minute before Moses got stretched out for an injury in the 30th minute.
Ignatov sealed the game in the 42nd minute and ensured that the game ended 2-0 in favour of Spartak Moscow.
The level of Moses’s injury is yet to be ascertained and he is expected to undergo a test to determined the degree of the injury.
