Newly signed Sadiq Umar has expressed his happiness over his move to Real Sociedad and promised to reward the club with goals.
The Spanish La Liga side on Thursday announced the acquisition of Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker on a 5-year deal from UD Almeria.
His performance for Almeria in the second division last season and earlier this season made him the subject of discussions throughout the summer transfer window.
While reacting to the move, the former Glasgow Rangers of Scotland player was happy to have joined the club and promised to pay back by scoring goals.
“The most important thing for me is that I’m here, I will work hard to get results, the team plays very well and I want to meet my teammates.
“La Real is a great team and a big step in my career is the best option.
“I’m happy to be here and I will do everything possible to help my teammates and gives my best level,” he said.
