The President of the 2022/23 Italian Serie A champions, Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis has finally spoken on the contract situation of Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.
Following his string of good performances last season, Osimhen has attracted attention from the European top clubs and Napoli is struggling to keep the Nigerian attacker.
Partenopei has discussed with the agent of Osimhen but the dotted lines is yet to be signed between both parties.
“With Osimhen I was always calm, but there are two sides to these things.
“I’m still the same, if his mood has changed I can’t do anything. If after a handshake things change, I feel it, I accept it and life goes on.
“We have a good relationship and he has a contract until 2025, there is time. Remember that I sold Koulibaly in his last year…”, ADL said.
Osimhen is presently nursing an injury and he’s expected to be out of action for a month.
