Southampton manager Nathan Jone has labelled Nigeria-born youngster Samuel Edozie as a wonderful talent.
The 19-year-old was a key player off the bench for the Saints in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Edozie came off the subs bench to secure a 2-1 win for his side against Lincoln.
“He (Edozie) is always pushing,” Jones stated about the youngster as he considers playing him in the Premier League, per the Daily Echo.
“He was fantastic when he came. We want to get more from him, to develop him.
“He is not in a position, I don’t think, where he can play 38 Premier League games and seven cup games in a 45-game season.
“He is young, he is learning, but he is a wonderful, wonderful talent, he is, and proud of him.”
