Barely 24 hours after capturing lanky Nigeria International Paul Onuachu, Southampton boss Nathan Jones has revealed why they opted for him.
The English Premier League club completed the acquisition of Nigerian forward on transfer deadline day, as they continue their quest to retain their Premier League status.
The manager said Onuachu is experienced and very difficult to play against.
“Paul is a significant signing for us and completes what has been an extremely positive month in terms of recruitment.
“He’s a handful to play against, has got a tremendous record throughout his career and he’s also someone who brings great experience with him, so he’ll be a positive addition to the squad”, he said.
