After regaining his full fitness, South Africa’s premier league giant Orlando Pirates is set to offer Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah a contract extension.
The lanky defender joined the Pirates about 3 seasons ago from the Nigeria Premier League side Akwa United.
Ndah spent half of last season in treatment but he has recovered and played the last 5 matches for the club this season.
His current contract deal will run down by next summer and the club hierarchy is already considering offering a new deal.
” That’s definitely a possibility( contract extension) it’s likely to happen although I don’t think that there is an agreement yet.
“You know Pirates like to deal with things like this at the end of the season and that’s what is likely to happen even in his case.
He has done well since he made his return and the coach has been impressed that is why he has kept his place in the Pirate’s defence.
The supporters love him and in my opinion, there is no defender like him in the PSL”, the club source said.
