Update from the camp of the Super Eagles in Abu Dhabi ahead of the 2023 AFCON indicates that the proposed friendlies with Burkina Faso and Cape Verde has been cancelled.
It was gathered that the Super Eagles are now to face Syli National of Guinea in a friendly game as part of preparations for the AFCON 2023.
The game between the Eagles and Guinea is billed for Monday, 8 January, 2024.
