Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Omatsone Aluko has announced his retirement from the game.
The skilful winger who is currently on the payroll of the newly promoted English Premier League side Ipswich Town FC announced his official retirement from the game at the club dinner.
” I couldn’t think of a better place to end my career.
From top to bottom, the Club is amazing, and it has been a privilege to be here. I’ve not played as much as I would have liked, but this has still been the best year of my career.
“All of the lads, I love every one of you, even you, Harry Clarke Ipswich manager who gave him little game time”, he said.
During his playing career, Aluko represented Rangers, Aberdeen, Hull City, Fulham, and Reading and also has stints with Beijing Renhe in China.
The 35-year-old had 7 appearances and scored twice for the Super Eagles.
