Saint Etienne Feminine played out a 1-1 draw against Montpellier Feminine late Sunday evening with Nigeria’s Super Falcons forward Regina Otu making the headlines in the game.
The host dominated the proceedings as expected and their effort quickly paid off with the Nigerian International Otu opening the scoring in the 13th minute.
Despite all the pressure, the away side locked up their backline as the first stanza ended 1-0.
The second half resumed with the host still pressing and Otu continued to threaten the backline of the away side.
Instead, it was the away side that equalised in the 69th minute as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
