Nigeria’s Super Falcons have secured their qualification ticket to the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations in style after their victory over the Blue Shark in Praia.
The Nigerian side entered the game on Tuesday with full confidence after their comfortable 5-0 win in the first leg.
Falcons dominated the game expectedly, but it was the host that scored in the 8th through Ivana Moreira and they were able to protect their lead going into halftime.
The 9-time African champions up their game in the second and they were able to get the equaliser in the 62nd minute via Esther Okronkwo.

With the result, the Falcons progressed to the competition proper 7-2 on aggregate.
