The Sportsville Special Recognition Award was initiated four years ago as part of the activities to mark Sportsville’s 20th year anniversary on air.
Sportsville, one of the most followed sports programs in Nigeria, has enjoyed unbroken broadcasting for the past 23 years, making it one of the longest running independent sports shows in the nation.
Since the award started in 2021, over 50 personalities and corporate organisations have been honoured.
