Team Nigeria early Thursday morning failed to progress in the women’s 100×4 relay race.
The quartet drafted in from different events to represent Nigeria in the women’s 4x100m did their best to progress but was not enough.
Tobi Amusan, Grace Nwokocha, Patience Okon-George and Ese Brume finished 6th in heat 2 of women’s 4x100m, posting a time of 43.25s. The feat that could not guarantee them moving into the next round of the event.
Germany Switzerland and China advanced to the final to join Great Britain, USA and Jamaica.
