Super Eagles attacker, Terem Moffi two goals and one assist ended AS Monaco’s nine matches unbeaten.
Moffi scored the opener and his first in the colors of OGC Nice with a brace as they trashed Monaco in the derby de la Côte d’Azur
The 23-year-old has failed to find the back of the net in his opening three games for his new club since joining from Lorient but was handed another start in Monaco as both teams went in search of a derby win.
The Nigerian however needed just eight minutes to finally end his goal drought and the goal was indeed a beauty, he received a lovely pass from Dante before controlling perfectly and firing the ball into the net for his 13th strike of the campaign.
One became two halfway into the first period when Moffi doubled their lead in a similar style, this time racing unto a pass from Khephren Thuram before he fired into the net for 2-0
Moffi was not done as he soon returned the favor to Thuram just before halftime as he turned provider for the French midfielder to make it 3-0 going into the break.
The hosts stepped up in the second half but Nice held on to seal their first league win at Monaco since September 2014.
