Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor has begun discussions with Belgian Jupiler League side KAA Gent for Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha.
Tournarigha had entered into the final part of his contract and several clubs especially in the German Bundesliga have shown interest in his service.
The update from Turkey, on Friday indicated that Trabzonspor has commenced negotiations to have the Nigerian International in the lineup next season.
Trabzonspor has housed several Nigerian players in including John Mikel Obi.
If he goes through, Tournarigha will be playing alongside Anthony Nwakaeme who joined the team a few weeks ago.
