Newly acquired Besiktas defender Glory Ogbonna has expressed her excitement over her move to Turkey.
The Turkish women’s club on Friday announced the signing of Nigeria’s Super Falcons until the end of the season from ALG Spor.
She was unveiled after having a successful medical examination.
“It was a move that I never saw coming when the offer came I looked at their project and it was wonderful so I decided to grab it.
Besiktas is a good club, they have ambition, I want to give everything to the club and help them win the playoff ticket”, she said.
During her time at ALG Spor, Glory Ogbonna played 10 games and registered one goal and two assists. By joining Besiktas, she becomes the club’s second Nigerian behind her compatriot Viviane Ikechukwu.
