Due to his amazing form in the just concluded Belgium Jupiler League season, top clubs in Europe have set eyes on former Nigeria’s Flying Eagles and Royal Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yusuf.
Royal Antwerp lifted the league title this season and clubs across Europe have set eyes on the key players.
Particularly, Portuguese Primeira Liga giant Sporting Lisbon has indicated an interest in the services of the Nigerian skillful midfielder.
The 22-year-old who has 2 years left on his contract made 34 appearances for the champion this season and has one assist.
The club has valued Yusuf at around £5 million but it remained to be seen if Antwerp will allow him to leave, as they will be campaigning in the prestigious UEFA Champions League next season.
