After nearly a year on the sidelines, Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Tyrone Ebuehi has made his long-awaited return to action for Empoli.
Ebuehi’s time in the Italian Serie A has been marred by persistent injuries since his arrival.
The 29-year-old suffered a cruciate ligament injury during a Serie A fixture against Bologna in March 2024.
He marked his return by coming off the bench in the 66th minute during Empoli’s clash with Cagliari, replacing Samba.
