Tyson Fury has shown his caring side by donating a heavy bag and gym equipment to an amateur boxing club. The heavyweight champ sent the gear to the BoxIQ gym in Dubai where he has previously trained.
The gym posted a message of thanks to the Gypsy King on their Instagram account.
It read: “Tested out the new heavy bag in the gym today.
“Wanted to say a massive thank you to Tyson @gypsyking101 for personally sending us the bag it’s a great addition to our gym.
“Thanks champ.” The donation is far from Fury’s first act of kindness.
The 33-year-old previously vowed to donate his £7million purse from the first of his trilogy of fights against Deontay Wilder to homeless charities. He has also saved sea creatures and given money to people sleeping rough in the street.
And he raised over £50,000 for Liverpool’s Alder Hey Family House Trust after the complicated birth of his sixth child Athena last year.
Fury is currently in training as he prepares to face former sparring partner Dillian Whyte in an all-British homecoming bout.
But the Fury camp are still waiting for the Body Snatcher to sign the contract for their WBC world title scrap.
