The head coach of Nigeria’s Golden Eaglet Nduka Ugbade has declared their readiness to make the country proud in the upcoming U17 African Cup of Nations.
The 5-time World champion is among the 12 nations that will be competing for honors in Algeria later this month.
Ugbade admitted that there is some work to be done but stated that they are ready to deliver for the country.
“I’m happy with the level of work we’ve done and the type of playing staff at our disposal.
I believe that everything will go perfectly and that we will have a team that will make the country proud at the tournament.
“We know that there is still work to be done in the coming weeks to get the team in great shape”, he said.
Nigeria is in the same group as Morocco, Zambia and South Africa.
