Ahead of the first leg of the U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier, Nigeria’s Flamingoes on Thursday morning left the country to Douala, Cameroon for the game.
The Nigerian side put up a respectable performance during the last edition of the World Cup under coach Bankole Olowokeere.
For the qualifier, the Nigerian team was drawn against the Central African Republic team and the first leg will be played outside CAR.
The game has been fixed to take place in Douala, Cameroon with the reverse fixture slated for the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
