Two-time champion, Israel Adesanya has attributed his defeat to South Africa’s Dricus du Plessis in the UFC Middleweight fight as victory for Africa.
A fierce fight at Perth Arena on Sunday saw South African fighter Dricus du Plessis successfully retain his UFC Middleweight championship.
He secured victory over his bitter rival Israel Adesanya, forcing a submission in the fourth round of the matchup.
Adesanya said: “I’m happy I got to fight again. I appreciate all the energy from you.
