African soccer ruling body has officially postponed the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations.
The competition was earlier slated to hold this year but the qualifier is yet to be played among the interested countries.
The executive arm of CAF held the virtual meeting on Friday and various decisions were taken
They officially announced the women’s tournament will be held from the 5th of July 2025 to the 26th of the same month in Morocco.
Bayana Bayana of South Africa is the current holder of the trophy while Super Falcons of Nigeria remains the most successful country in the tournament.
