The captain of the Nigeria Premier Football League side River United, Nyima Nwagua has said they have what it takes to win this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The Pride of Rivers zoomed into the quarter-final of the competition on Sunday after their 2-1 win over Dream FC of Ghana.
While speaking to the Tori Podcast, Nyima said they’ve worked hard to reach the knockout stage.
” We have worked hard to get to this point, we will not look down on ourselves.
We have everything to win the cup”, he said.
The draw for the quarter-final is slated for the 12th of March and Rivers’ opponent could likely be one of Zamalek ( Egypt), USM Algiers ( Algeria) or RS Berkane ( Morocco).
