Three people have died following fresh inter-clan clashes between the Garre and Murule clans in Mandera county.
The skirmishes which broke out on Thursday night, are believed to be a retaliatory attack.
Tension remains high in the area following the attacks, that left two other people hospitalized.
Mandera governor Ali Roba is currently chairing a reconciliatory meeting in the area.
The two clans have been quarreling over pasture and water, with both claiming ownership of land at Alango area, in Lafey Sub-county.
