The Tunisian Parliament has decided to expedite consideration of a draft law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist enemy entity, which had been submitted by the “Sovereign National Line” bloc.
Tunisian media quoted Parliament Speaker Ibrahim Bouderbala as saying “The Parliament Office decided to refer the request to urgently consider the draft law criminalizing normalization with Israel to the Committee on Rights and Freedoms to complete its consideration.”
Bouderbala stressed in a speech he delivered at the opening of the extraordinary plenary session of Parliament dedicated to considering developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories, that “the request to urgently consider the draft law criminalizing normalization was signed by 97 members of Parliament.”
He explained that the emergency session came at the request of the representatives “to discuss the brutal aggression against Palestine and the support mechanisms that were launched under the direction of President Kais Saied.”
