Two women are among seven people injured during fresh skirmishes that hit Tiritagoi, Sigaon, Kapkarang and Sigotik areas in Molo and Njoro constituencies, Nakuru County.
Area residents decried torching of houses at Kapkarang area for the better part of Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, Nakuru County Commissioner Erastus Mbui confirmed the skirmishes however downplaying any perceived rise in tension in the affected areas.
The County Commissioner stated that security officers have since been dispatched to the areas to quell any further violence and retain peace.
Eunice Lelei, a woman leader from the area, said some of those injured in the clashes are nursing injuries at Nakuru Provincial General Hospital (PGH).
