All set for Ogun FA Elective Congress as NFF’s Majekodunmi seeks re-election

The Electoral Committee saddled with the responsibility of overseeing the elective congress of the Football Association in the Gateway State has cleared incumbent chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi to vie for the Association’s top position again.

From Ogun West Senatorial District, Mr. Akinkunmi Julius was cleared in his quest to become the Vice Chairman of the Association, a position previously held by Late Alhaji, Najeemdeen Lasisi.

Also cleared to contest for the position of Board Member are Mr. Abiodun Odejimi (Ogun Central), Alhaji Fatai Oyerogba (Ogun Central), Mr. Akeem Adeyemi (Ogun West) and Chief Okebunmi Akeem (Ogun West).

Others are Mr. Orenuga A.A (Ogun East), Princess Olayinka Adesola (Ogun East), and Mr. Femi Bamgboye (Ogun East).

The Electoral Committee headed by Barrister Abayomi Omohinmi confirmed that the elective congress will go ahead on June 1, 2023 as earlier announced after the candidates fulfilled all righteousness during screening.
