English Championship side Watford FC has ended the contract of Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu.
The 27-year-old Nigerian international moved to Vicarage Road from Bordeaux for around £2.25m in the 2022 January transfer window.
Following his injury reoccurrence, the skilful winger struggled to stamp his authority in the team and he was limited to 13 games.
Last season he was loaned out to Swiss side Lausanne, and the club has confirmed that he should leave permanently.
