Injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of action for 3 months.
The defensive midfield player was initially selected for the Super Eagles team for the upcoming African Cup of Nations but was excused from the team due to an injury.
The club on Friday confirmed that the combative midfielder will miss action for the next 3 months.
Ndidi will be out of contract in the summer, and with this injury problem turning up, not likely a transfer target for anyone in January.
The Foxes will surely feel his absence as he played a pivotal role in the team’s decent outing so far in the season.
