It’s Matchday 18 of the Nigerian Premier Football League,and a Southwest derby is up for grabs as Gbenga Ogunbote’s men will take a short trip to the Center Exellence for Sunday’s clash.
In lieu of this, the club management has decided to throw open the gates of the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Monday, for free entry to the fans,in order to view the game and cheer on their side.
After a blistering start to this year’s campaign, Sporting Lagos have now found themselves in the relegation battle, joint on points with Rivers United in 17th who have three games in hand.
The team will be looking to grab all three points against the Oluyole Warriors who are tenth on the log with 22 points in 16 games in front of their unrelenting home fans,who will be cheering them on.
A derby rooted in deep heritage, rivalry will be up for all to enjoy on Monday 15th January in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
