Warm temperatures and a chance of rainfall in Egypt on Saturday

Meteorologists predict comfortably warm daytime weather on Saturday in Cairo, the Delta Governorates, northern coastal cities and northern Upper Egypt.

Moderately warm weather is expected in the South Sinai, while hot weather will prevail in southern Upper Egypt.

Residents in Cairo, the Delta Governorates, the North Coast, and South Sinai will likely see some rain during the day.

Cooler nighttime temperatures will lead to brisk evenings in Cairo, the Delta Governorates, the north coast, and northern Upper Egypt.

The northeast coast, South Sinai, and Upper Egypt will retain their warmer temperatures throughout Saturday night.

Moderate winds will blow across most of the country, with stronger gusts accompanied by dust moving through Upper Egypt, the Delta Governorates, the North Coast, and South Sinai. 

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height.

Northwestern surface winds will cover both seas.

– Luxor: 32C

– Aswan: 34C

– Hurghada: 32C

– Sharm el-Sheikh: 31C

– Marsa Matrouh: 25C

Greater Cairo: 50 percent chance of rain

Lower Egypt: 60 percent chance of rain

The North Coast: 90 percent chance of rain

The Eastern Coast and Suez Canal Cities: 80 percent chance of rain

South Sinai: 50 percent chance of rain
