Wolves are set to be without several first-team players for their upcoming clash with Everton.
Wolves vs Everton
Wolves and Everton are set to face off on Tuesday evening.
The hosts head into the tie on the back of a pretty dire spell of recent form.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side did pick up an FA Cup win over Crystal Palace over the weekend.
Before that, however, Wolves were seriously struggling in the Premier League, having failed to secure three points in any of their prior 4 outings.
In turn, the West Midlands outfit have slipped to a worrying 13th in the English top-flight table.
Everton, meanwhile, fell to a defeat of their own in the club’s last Premier League outing, bringing to an end a four-game win streak.
Nuno Santo on Wolves’ injuries
Ahead of his side’s meeting with the Toffees, Wolves boss Nuno Santo today provided a fitness update on his squad.
And, in a blow for the Molineux side, all of Willy Boly, Daniel Podence and Marcal remain out of action.
The trio have all been absent for both of Wolves’ last two outings:
“It’s one of the most challenging periods of my time at Wolves’, Santo explained. ‘In the first PL season we made the same starting XI 10 times. Now it’s different, always demanding…we’re ready for it.”
