Borussia Monchengladbach vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid are set to return to European action on Tuesday evening.
Despite dominating the competition for large periods under Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos’ recent Champions League form has actually been pretty dismal.
Madrid, of course, crashed out at the last-16 stage last season, at the hands of Manchester City.
Then, in their opening group game of 2020/21, Real fell to a shock 3-2 defeat vs a weakened Shakhtar Donetsk side.
This means that the Spanish champions will kick off against Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday evening sat bottom of Group B, after the German outfit and Inter Milan played out a 2-2 draw last week.

Zidane on Hazard
As a result of their poor start, a win vs Gladbach is almost a must for Madrid.
So, they will no doubt be glad to have Eden Hazard back among the club’s first-team ranks.
The Belgian has been out of action since August, but was named in Los Merengues’ squad for Tuesday.
Zinedine Zidane, meanwhile, spoke out regarding Hazard ahead of his side’s return to European action, and hinted that the former Chelsea man is ready to play some role in Germany:
“If Hazard is with us it is because he is well and that is good news. We are all happy to see him with us,” Zidane said on Monday.
“Tomorrow we will see how we are going to use him. It is very positive news for us.
“We know that the season is long and we are going to need everyone. It is true, I have always said it, because they are players who always play.
“It is true that we have had problems on the wing, but there are other players who can replace them and it will not give us problems.”
