Oleg Malyshev, the Chief Executive Officer of Russian Premier League club Spartak Moscow has confirmed that no discussion yet on the contract situation of former Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Victor Moses.
The Moscow-based club secured a 2-3 away win in the opening game of the season last Sunday with the former Nigerian international scoring the opening goal.
Moses joined Spartak Moscow in 2020 from the English Premier League side Chelsea and his contract with the club is near expiration.
While speaking to Sport Express, the CEO said no discussion yet but they are still looking into the future.
“We haven’t talked to Moses about a contract extension yet, but we will watch and follow the game.
“Now we are counting on him, he’s one of the best starting players, let’s see what will happen in the future”, he stated.
