Xabi Alonso has refused to blame Augustine Eguavoen and his backroom staff from Victor Boniface’s injury.

Alonso as criticized the Super Eagles striker for not taking precautions after feeling slight pains in his thigh during the 2025 AFCON qualifying game against Rwanda in Uyo,
