The honourable minister of youth and sport,Chief Sunday Dare has charged the Oyo state contingent to the ongoing National Sports Festival to be good Ambassador of the state.
The minister who paid an unscheduled visit to the team’s UNIBEN Camp Sunday evening urged them to remain focused and be of good behaviour on and off the field of sports.
Speaking further, he told them to remember the state slogan of”A ji se bi Oyo laari,Oyo ki I se bi baba enikan”. He however said that they should go all out to win more medals for the State as Pacesetter State.
“My visit is to just to encourage you to do more and I also want you to be good Ambassadors of our State.The Pacesetter State. You should not engage in any activities that will bring disgrace to the state.
Responding, the Chairman,Oyo state Sports council,Arole Adewusi thanked the minister for his visit ans words of encouragement promising that the athletes will represent the State very well.
